The new Noah City ICO Dividends system and rules

Hello, dear Noahians. We have decided to update the Noah City ICO Dividends program. The new system will be more clear and intuitive. Here’s what we have changed.

If you recall, Noah City Dividends is a program for ICO holders that’s aimed at strengthening the Noah ecosystem and restoring justice. Its members receive 20% per annum in NOAHP, absolutely passively.

New Noah City ICO Dividends changes:

1. The dividends distribution is scheduled for Mon 18.01 or Tue 19.01.
2. During distribution, the balance snapshot made on January 1st will be moved to the ICO Dividends Balance window and will be displayed there.
3. It is POSSIBLE to withdraw funds from the ICO Dividends Balance but if you do, you’ll be eliminated from the program. Funds can be withdrawn in the same way as you would withdraw the total balance.
4. You can rejoin the program by returning the required amount to the ICO Dividends Balance. The required amount will be indicated in the ICO Dividends Balance window itself.
5. You can add funds to the ICO Dividends Balance if you’d like to increase the amount of dividends you receive. To do this, click on the ‘Deposit’ button in the same window. The funds will be put ‘On hold’ and 30 days later, they will be transferred to the ICO Dividends Balance.
6. Other operations, such as NOAHP deposits, unbonding from the Delegation, etc., will also take place through the total balance. These funds can be used at your discretion.
7. Payments will now be made on the 15th of every month.

Everything else will remain the same:

• The snapshot of balances occurs on the 1st day of each month.
• The monthly payment amount is 1/12 of 20% of the ICO Dividends Balance.
• The total balance doesn’t include the ICO Dividends balance, just as it doesn’t include the Delegation balance, etc. The ICO Dividends balance is separate.

Why we integrated the ICO Dividends balance widget and how it works:

1. The ICO Dividend Balance widget will appear as soon as your funds are transferred from the available balance. This might take up to 24 hours.
2. You can check the status of this submission in your list of outgoing transactions. Displayed there will be the amount that corresponds to the snapshot made on January 1st. The dividends are being calculated now, based on this amount.
3. Don’t be intimidated by a negative balance (regarding available funds). This is possible if you have delegated or withdrawn funds, i.e. by the time the balance was transferred (equal to the amount captured by the snapshot taken on 01.01.2021), the account had less than this amount. However, your money doesn’t disappear. Once the transaction goes through, you will see these funds in the ICO Dividends window.
4. We do this for your own convenience so that you always know by how much the amount of dividends is reduced, in case you delegate NOAHP or withdraw coins.
5. The total balance in the ICO Dividends and Available Balance windows cannot be lower than the amount available on the general balance before the system update. The positive balance can be returned to the Available Balance by transferring part of the ICO Dividends Balance there. Note that this will reduce the amount of ICO Dividends that will be accrued. This would have happened without the separation of wallets because the funds were withdrawn after the snapshot was taken on 1.01.

The ICO Dividend Balance functionality has been added specifically for the convenience of the Noah community. Every month we have many questions from users who have been eliminated from the dividends program or who have received less because they don’t remember how much they should have in their balance. Our team has developed a clear and precise tool that will make it easy to understand how much money can be safely used and how much must stay untouched.

We want to remind you of the Noah City ICO Dividends schedule, which remains the same under the new system:

1. Non-citizens and Green Card owners will only receive dividends for 2020 (and throughout the year), from September 2020 to August 2021.
2. Standard citizens and above will receive dividends for 2020, 2019, and 2018 but only if they haven’t received them yet.
3. Payments will be made at a rate of 20% per year in 12 installments, once a month.
4. Dividends payments for 2020 will start in September 2020 and will run till September 2021.
5. Dividends for 2019 will be paid from September 2021 to September 2022.
6. Dividends for 2018 will be paid from September 2022 to September 2023.
7. There is no need to apply for dividends again for future years if you have already applied for 2020.

Please note: You must apply by the 15th of the current month in order to receive the dividends for this month, e.g. if you applied for Noah City ICO Dividends after January 15th, you’ll receive NOAHP for February. January dividends will not be paid to you.

We sincerely hope that the new Noah City ICO Dividends program clarifies and simplifies the process. At the same time, we hope that the Noah community uses dividends as a means of strengthening the Noah ecosystem.
